BEACHES:

Jardin Beach: It is made by Cesar Manrique, with black sand and charming surroundings of wide gardens sprinkled of bars and restaurants. It includes Castillo Beach, Charcon Beach and Punta Brava Beach where surfers have their own space.

Martianez: Beach: It is located right beside the sea water pools “Lagos Martianez” opened in 1977 by the aforementioned Cesar Manrique. This black sand beach (as usual in the north of the island) has a surf school, a coffee shop and unbeatable sunrise and sundown.


SURROUNDINGS:

Bollullo Beach: It is hidden between banana plantations because its beauty deserves the walk on foot to discover this spectacular volcanic sand beach, with snack bar hanging on the rocks and roaring waves. It is located at Cuesta de la Villa and it has low cost parking areas in peak season.

Socorro Beach: In the road to Icod de los Vinos, you can see a sign to this natural corner, perfect for surfing and photographs.


GARDENS:

The Botanic Garden: Jewel opened in 1788, provided of 20.000 m2 and species from the five continents, with researcher focus about Canary Islands flora.

Sitio Litre Orchids Garden: Historic relic, amongst the most famous house guests were William Wilde, Marianne North, Richard Burton, Alexander von Humboldt o Agatha Christie, with possibly the best collection of orchids in the Canaries.

Taoro Park: Proposal of vegetation and water over the side of the hill with Taoro Casino on the top and coffee shops inside the beauty of flowers, plants and ponds.
